About Fabrika42

Fabrika42 publishes early signals for solopreneurs. I research an emerging niche the moment its viability is validated: the wedge, the math, the build playbook. The goal is to surface opportunities while demand is already proven but the competition has not arrived yet, so you can move before the window closes.

Why I built this

I'm Dmitri. I run Fabrika42 as a solo operator with AI as primary leverage. The information environment for solopreneurs is brutal: VC trend channels cover ideas at VC scale, AI-news channels react to every model release, and most “AI for X” coverage is already crowded by the time it reaches you. The result is that good opportunities get missed, mediocre ones get over-pursued, and most builders freeze.

Fabrika42 is the channel I wished existed. Every trend is filtered through one question: can a one-person team with AI realistically capture this, and is the window still open? The trends that survive that filter get the full research treatment.

What you get as a community member

Trend research. Sourced, opinionated analysis of an emerging niche each time one is validated as viable for solopreneurs. Named competitors, sized markets, the wedge incumbents are missing, the honest Skip-This-If section. Primary sources only.

Build playbooks. The operational deliverable that pairs with each research article. The 5-layer architecture, agent-ready prompts, a 4-to-6-week timeline with binary kill conditions, the GTM motion. Hand it to your AI coding agent and ship.

Emerging trends dashboard. A live watchlist of trends I am tracking but have not published a full article on yet, with the early signals I am seeing, the anti-pattern flags I am watching, and a readiness score for when the trend is likely to be article-ready. Coming very soon.

Email updates. When a new trend goes live, you get the email. No spam, no daily digest.

How I find trends

A multi-source signal pipeline plus human judgement. Tools and frameworks ranked by builder revenue stories, MLS-style distribution announcements, regulatory shifts, and primary-source corroboration across multiple independent outlets. Every candidate is filtered through an explicit anti-pattern checklist before it gets a full research treatment. Most candidates do not survive. The ones that do are the ones you read about.

What I don't do

No VC-scale ideas that need $5M and a team of twelve. No hype. No generic “best AI tool” listicles. No coverage of trends that are already crowded by the time they hit Twitter. No content that drives engagement at the cost of trust. Every article includes an explicit Skip-This-If section so you can rule yourself out fast if a trend is not for you.
